We leverage recent advances in quantitative techniques and the increasing availability of large datasets to investigate major socioecological conservation challenges, particularly how various aspects of invasion operate at broad spatiotemporal scales and across scales.
Current research topics include forecasting invasions through species traits, the roles of different types of diversity on invasibility, and cross-taxonomic resistance to invasive pests. We also specialized in refining and developing quantitative tools for ecological use, such as automated content analysis and automated acoustic classification.Â
